I'd love to see the sample schedules for the upper years. I think some were posted in the past, and they were helpful toward offering something of the "big picture". Will they be the same as the Year 6 schedule, or will there be courses added/removed?

Hello Jessica,
I've attached sample schedules to the website for Years 7-9. HERE
I've spent some time working on the scope and sequence of Upper School B [Years 7-9] for Program 1 -it's not finished yet, but I have a better set-up. The sample schedules are based on the general arrangment of the program guides, but with the scope and sequence of the book lists created for the Curriculum by Years [with some notes for where the scope and sequence of the book lists created for Curriculum by Programs differs].
I want to be completely upfront and share that creating guides for this many years in this many different plans is obviously not conducive towards being efficient in publishing in a timely manner. Because of this, I will most likely make changes to the book lists for Curriculum by Years as I move upwards, using completed work from the Program guides. I just wanted to let you know that the upper years in Curriculum by Years will see some changes. There is still so much work left to do that it would be impossible for me to foresee all and not make some changes. In the end, what is published is still a good plan, it just might be adjusted later.
I do hope this helps!
Hi Jessica,
I haven't looked at the upper years in a bit....I've been so busy working on the lower years. I'll try to work on that this month and maybe get a little something up for USB [Years 7-9]. I need to gather my notes and thoughts to be ready.
Having said that, Year Seven's schedule will resemble Year Six's schedule in many ways. Year Seven will add 2 Shakespeare plays. Natural History will convert to science by field...so Botany, Physics, etc. Year Seven will complete a four year study of British History while also studying American History and Ancient History. Citizenship will also continue along with other subjects already started. Handwriting can be traded for work in the commonplace book -unless your student really enjoys and wants to continue with it.
Let me look at this more and I'll get back to you. That way I don't have to retract and change what I say now, causing confusion.
